An exclusive Q&A with Wanstor’s Cyber Security Expert, Vlad Birgauanu, on the latest changes to the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus Certifications

The Cyber Essentials scheme is updated every year to reflect an ever-evolving cyber threat landscape.

The assessments have been designed to safeguard organisations against some of the most commonly occurring cyber-attacks. Regular updates ensure that these assessments remain relevant, and an effective way for organisations to defend themselves against some of the most common cyber security threats.

This year, these updates come into effect on 24th April.

As a Certification Body for the IASME Consortium, the NCSC’s Cyber Essentials partner, we hosted a TechTalk with our Senior Security Architect, Vlad Birgauanu, to discuss the latest changes to this scheme and gave people the opportunity to ask our expert speaker any questions on the certification scheme and how it could apply to their sectors or organisations. Watch the recording here:
